Actuarial Assistant Manager - Team Pricing

1.  Job purpose

To head sub-Pricing team to:

• Participate in product development processes (including market research, pricing, internal & external product filing)
• Lead bancassurance contracts review project, in light of new regulation

2.  Accountabilities

Provide support to the actuarial departments in all aspects of actuarial work including, but not limited to, the following:

• Conduct product research and market analysis.
• Assist pricing of new products and preparation of internal and external product filing, aligned with regulation changes (especially in 2023-2026)
• In charge of bancassurance contracts review project, advise on possible amendments considering regulation changes to promote sustainable growth of alternative distribution channel.
• Liaise with external parties such as reinsurers, and alternative distribution channels.
• Foster a collaborative actuarial team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior members.
• Pro-actively drive initiatives/projects to enhance overall pricing process efficiency and governance/controls
• Actuarial exams

3.  Requirements

Education & experiences: 

• Bachelor of Maths/ Economics/ Actuarial Science is preferable.
• Nearly qualified ASA (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in an actuarial department of a multi-national insurance company. Experience in Pricing is strongly preferred.
