1.  Job purpose

  • Support BD Region Head (BDRH)/BD Area Head (BDAH)/BD Territory Head (BDTH) in managing and developing Agency of assigned location (70%)
  • Deliver training of the FFS courses / Rookies /Agency Leaders (30%)

2.  Accountabilities

  • Manage Sales Location to achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which are agreed with BDRH/BDAH/BDTH about:

o   Recruitment:

-       Approve appropriately qualified Financial Consultants (FCs) in accordance with the development plan and recruitment standards.

-       Recruit appropriately qualified BMs/UMs in accordance with the development plan for the Sales Location as agreed with the BDRH/BDAH/BDTH

-       Manage the BMs/UMs in effective recruitment and development of FCs.

o   Sales productivity: Make up business plans with the suitable targets at each point of time for Sales Location and manage the BMs, UMs & FCs to strive for and achieve sales targets.

o   Persistency ratio: Ensure the persistency of business set for the Sales Location

  • Be responsible for ethical, compliance and misconduct matters relating to Sales Location

o   Ensure Sales Location operates under Dai-ichi Life Vietnam's ethical standards, compliance standards and within the spirit of law.

o   Prevent, report, and handle any compliance issues and/or misconduct cases arising relating to Sales location.

  • Manage daily operation of the Sales Office in the Block to ensure to maintain professional office environment and cost effectiveness.

o   Administrative tasks in the Sales Location

o   Relationship with local government

o   Office management

o   Responsible for training the FFS courses / Rookies / Agency Leaders

3.  Requirements

Education & Experience

  • A university degree, major in Economics/Finance/Business Administration is preferable.
  • At least working at BM level in life insurance industry or have experience of management.
  • Experience in sales management
  • Experience in sales training

Technical skills

  • Be sensitive to market trends and business data.
  • Planning & task management skills
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Strong presentation/ training skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Coaching & development team management

Soft skills

  • Good communication and presentation skill in English
  • Reporting skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to approach people and build business relationships where no initial relationship exists.

4.  Challenges

  • The key challenge is to ensure business targets are met, to maintain a strong focus on sales profitability, by operating strict control of expenses and to ensure high quality training courses are delivered.
