1. JOB PURPOSE
- The Risk Management Staff will contribute to effectively identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks within the life insurance company. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams to maintain robust risk management and internal risk frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills, a foundational understanding of risk management principles, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
2. ACCOINTABILITIES
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and reporting operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure risks are effectively managed across the organization.
- Prepare and submit risk-related reports to stakeholders including Dai-ichi Life Group and regulators as required by the Risk Management Head
- Assist in conducting risk management training programs and support awareness initiatives across the organization.
- Monitor and report on the status of compliance risks within the company.
3. REQUIREMEMTS
Education & Experiences
- Preferably a university degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Economics, or other relevant disciplines).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Life insurance industry.
Required Competencies
- Basic understanding of risk management principles and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and teamwork skills.

Resistance to change or a lack of understanding from other teams could impede the effectiveness of training programs and risk management initiatives. The role requires persistence and innovative strategies to engage employees effectively.
