1.  JOB PURPOSE
  • The Data Analyst will be critical in supporting the Compliance and Risk Management Department of a life insurance company in Vietnam. This position involves analyzing data to provide insights, detect trends, and identify potential risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting effective risk management strategies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of handling complex data sets, and possess a foundational understanding of insurance industry compliance needs.

2.  ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Collect, clean, and analyze compliance and risk management data.
  • Identify and assess compliance risks using data analytics to support decision-making processes.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports on compliance and risk metrics, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement data-driven risk assessment tools and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory developments to ensure company practices comply with evolving legal requirements.
  • Support the development of data models for trend analysis, with advanced mathematical/statistical skills as a plus but not required.
  • Assist in audit and compliance reviews by providing data-backed insights and reports.
3.  REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experiences

  • University degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Commerce, Law, Dat Science or a relevant discipline).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in a data analysis, compliance, or related role, preferably in the financial services or insurance sector

Required Competency  

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of risk management and compliance principles in the financial services sector.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the insurance industry is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
